April 20, 2020
Join us at 1:00 PM @College_Access_Philly for our first Monday Monday IG LIVE with College Access staff and our guest expert Ron Felder from PHEAA as we share updates on Federal and PA State Financial Aid.
Did you know that by completing two (that's right only 2) forms online you can find out if you qualify for up to $10,000 worth of grants? How you ask?
Step 1. By completing your FAFSA
Step 2. Completing your PHEAA grant application.
You can complete the 2020–21 FAFSA form using the myStudentAid app. Download the myStudentAid app in the Apple App Store(iOS) or the Google Play store (Android). The myFAFSA component—which is used to complete the FAFSA form—is one of the app’s featured functions.
As we discussed last week, completing FAFSA is the only way to find out if and how much you qualify for in Financial Aid. Luckily, the state of Pennsylvania also offers the PHEAA grant (free money) to eligible students who are interested in pursuing higher education. Don't leave money on the table, secure the bag and weigh your options.
The monies available to you via completing the FAFSA and PHEAA are first come, first serve and our state deadline is fast approaching. Your Award Letter will detail the amounts of grant, scholarships, work-study and loans the college/university is offering.
